Private Running Coaching
anchored by the individuality of endurance training
RUN ONE OF ONE's mission is to enable runners to achieve their goals via consistent, enjoyable training. This involves a multi-faceted view that prioritizes many variables that are supplemental to our weekly training.RUN ONE OF ONE is prided by what athletes are provided in addition to a running schedule. The mental element of our sport is our greatest weapon next to our fitness; developing it is just as important as developing our aerobic fitness. Additionally, there are a handful of "little things" that supplement our weekly mileage that are critical to successful raceday outcomes.

Guided Training: Athletes are provided a training schedule that is planned, updated, and continuously maintained to align with their fitness, goals, progress, and life schedule. The only silver bullet to improving as a runner is to be consistent, and we are going to find how to make that as easy as possible for you.
Mindset approach: The mental side of endurance training is often underrated thanks to the sometimes excruciating physical nature of the sport and demand for consistency. How we approach each session mentally and how we learn to tolerate suffering is a fundamental driver of achieving our goals.
"The Little Things": What we do with nutrition, recovery, gear, strength&mobility, and other non-running factors combine to be a major variable in our performance and enable us to avoid injury more successfully. I've learned to love these parts of the sport and seen the dividends they pay when managed properly.
Race Day Strategy: Bringing all of the hardwork (and fueling practice for longer events) on race day - coming up with a plan and figuring out how we can execute to that plan

With over 10 total years of running experience and based in Huntsville, AL, my connection to the sport began early, growing up around accomplished runners and competitive training environments. My own career has included varsity competition, a state championship in track, and racing alongside future Division I and Olympic-level athletes, followed by a return to the sport in 2022 where I’ve found success in trail and ultra racing. My coaching philosophy is shaped by these experiences, influential mentors, and a continual pursuit of knowledge through both classic and modern training resources. Today, I coach and mentor athletes both independently and as an assistant coach at Huntsville High School. I'm driven by a genuine passion for helping runners realize they are capable of more than they believe.
